Unfinished business.

During my years at high school I was a great cricket player. I mean I was good in all departments. First of all I was a great leg spin bowler. I could spin the ball in such a way that I could rival the Australian Shane Warne, one of the greatest leg spinner ever to date. I can also bat. You know drive the ball majestically for four runs.

Anyway the guy who coached me at high school is now contracted to Cricket South Africa as coach. He coaches South Africa women's cricket(not sure what level) so he is far now. So a few months back I promised my mom that that I want to get back to cricket because I know Im talented enough to play for the national side. So now its the cricket season so my mom was on my neck wondering why am still draai-draaing around. By now I should be in Centurion or Johannesburg getting on with it.
That guy got connections there and he could certainly connect me with the right people and also put in a good word for me. South African cricket team has a lack of black cricket players so the odds are in my favour.

I dont know if I will forgive myself if I let this opportunity pass. I believe in myself, and I know I can do this. Eish but that would mean that I have to leave what am doing now because that would be a full-time commitment.

Whatever happens I should be in Gauteng now to give a try to one of the many abilities that I can make a career out of...

I guess at the end of the day I should stick to one of my longtime belief, that "If something must happen, it will".

Will it? Well a must is a must. What has to be will be...
