My Miracle.

Miracle – An event that defies the laws of nature. An extraordinary phenomenal that cannot be detected, captured or measured by any scientific or mathematic means known to man.

A miracle has only happened to me once in my lifetime. I was in boarding school, in grade 12, and I was a good boy and I didn’t get on people’s nerves at all. One evening I was in my room. Well not mine alone since there were four students who shared a room. Two double beds. I slept on the top, and I thought that was pretty cool. There was always a nice breeze going up there, and it did get as cold as it does down there. So that day was pretty normal. That evening I was alone in the room, around 9pm. I didn’t know where everyone was, they had all went out to their friends rooms. I’m sure they were there to zama zama some kos ;). You see that evening we didn’t buy the usual bread + chips + achar, and if you were loaded, + coke. I mean how could I afford that when I was given 100 bucks per month LOL. I mean really! All the loaded guys could afford all that, so I’m sure my roomies were hungry since boarding school food was total crap.

So that evening I lay on my bed and started singing some gospel songs. I sang and sang and sang. Now the windows were open and they were near my bed. Then I looked at the window and I said: “Holy Spirit, please come through that window tonight and come visit me. I would really like You to come, through this window, and just be with me. Please, please, please”. After that I just lay down, all happy. I was still alone and it was about an hour before my usual sleeping time. Somehow while still laying there I fell asleep. Deep deep sleep. As I was sleeping, this force came over me. My body was instantly paralyzed and I couldn’t move a thing. Then immediately my whole body was electrified. Literally electricity was shocking me my entire body. I tried to scream, but I couldn’t. I could only scream in my mind but that didn’t help. Now that went on for about thirty seconds and it suddenly stopped…

Now what happened next is where a miracle happened to me. Immediately after that I woke up. Then I tried to get up because I was lying down sleeping. As I got up, I noticed that, heck, my body was still lying down on the bed motionless. WHAT!!! I looked at myself, couldn’t see myself but just the walls, but when I looked at the bed my body was still there asleep. Now what had happened was that I was in spirit. Yep meaning I had separated from my body. It was around 11pm and everybody had came back to sleep. Obviously I didn’t hear anyone come back, and the light was off so it was dark. But amazingly I could see very well through the dark like it was daytime. I noticed that a person’s spirit has no limitation that our bodies have. And since I was on the top bed, I tried to get off it and walk around. When I got off the bed, I noticed that I floated in the air. Wow I mean I moved through the air like I was flying. It was unbelievable. I walked (flew?) across the room to my best friend who also slept on the top bed and got to him and told him something. Now that part I don’t know what I said to him but I remember talking to him. Then suddenly a voice said to me that it’s time to return back. So I walked on air again and went to my bed. Again I saw my body lying down. Slowly I got on my knees and aligned myself with my body. I remember clearly fitting my spirit hands with my real hands and then suddenly I was back in my real body. Immediately after that I quickly woke up.
It was dark and couldn’t see anything. I wanted to wake that guy I mentioned to ask him if he just saw me when I came to him. But a thought just came to me and said I should go back to sleep. I did. The next day I woke up, went to the classes as usual but the noticed that my fingers tips were itchy. I knew it was that electricity, leaving a physical signature.

So that’s my miracle that once happened to me. I do believe that miracles do happen everyday, and that it can happen to anyone. I also believe that it starts with the Holy Spirit!
